It’s that time of year when the breeze gets cooler, the leaves turn darker, and the signs of Fall are all creeping in. You can finally make soup without sweating – woohoo! Taco soup is a yummy spin on regular tacos and a great way to warm up when the cool weather reaches you. This taco soup recipe is one that you can start in the crockpot in the morning and let simmer all day until dinnertime comes.

Ingredients
1 lb of chicken breasts
1 can corn, drained
1 can black beans, drained
1 can tomato sauce
1 16-oz jar picante salsa
8 oz chicken broth
8 oz water
1-2 tbsp taco seasoning
1 small onion, chopped
Directions
- Add all ingredients to a crockpot.
- Cook 6-8 hours.
- Before serving, remove the chicken and shred.
- Return to crockpot and serve with any toppings you like!
