Overnight Oven French Toast is another gem from my Grandmother’s collection. This is one of my all time favorite breakfast recipes. While it does have to sit in the refrigerator overnight and then be baked in the morning, it is definitely worth the wait! The apple addition is a huge complement to the flavors in this dish. This delicious recipe is sure to please everyone in your family!

Ingredients:
¾ cup brown sugar
1/3 cup butter
2 tablespoons maple syrup
3 tart apples
1 ½ cups milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
5 eggs
1 loaf French bread
Cinnamon for sprinkling on top
Instructions:
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, cook sugar, syrup, and butter, stirring continuously, until syrupy
- Spread in bottom of 9×13 dish
- Slice apples, place on top of syrup mixture

4. Slice bread ¾ inches thick, place on top of apples

5. Wisk eggs, milk, and vanilla, pour over top
6. Sprinkle cinnamon over top

7. Refrigerate over night
8. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees F. for 40- 45 minutes

9. Serve hot with a sprinkle of powdered sugar or a drizzle of maple syrup!
